About Us

Downey's Caney Creek Club Lot Owners Association (DCCCLOA) is comprised of approximately 4,500 beautiful lots located close to the mouth of Caney Creek in Sargent, Texas, Matagorda County. DCCCLOA is a deed restricted residential coastal community, located approximately 25 miles from Bay City and Lake Jackson.

 

Many DCCCLOA lots are located on canals, where you can dock your boat, fish and catch blue crabs! There are also dry lots and lots located on the Intracoastal Waterway, with deep water moorings and direct access to Mitchell's Cut, the Gulf of Mexico and Matagorda Bay.

 

Located just moments from Sargent Beach, DCCCLOA residents and visitors can experience saltwater fishing, crabbing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming or just relaxing! The area offers shopping, restaurants, RV Parks, bait shops and more!

 

The DCCCLOA Board of Directors is comprised of DCCCLOA owners that volunteer their time. Board meetings are open to all DCCCLOA owners, so please attend if you get the chance. Also, the Board is always in need of volunteers. If you have a few hours each month to spare, please lend a hand! The organization is only as good as its volunteers.
